How to Find Your Opel/Vauxhall Radio Serial

Method 1 — Radio chassis label

Remove the radio using Opel/Vauxhall release keys (or a flat tool on older models). On the side of the unit you will find a sticker with the serial in the format OP670FW9002515. Enter the complete serial including the leading OP.

Method 2 — On-screen display

Some Opel Astra G, Vectra B and Zafira A units show the serial by pressing and holding the AS (Auto-Store) button for 10 seconds while in code entry mode. The serial appears in two groups on screen.

Note: Vauxhall (UK) uses identical radios to Opel — the same OP-series serial applies. Select Opel / Vauxhall for both brands.

FAQ

My Opel Astra shows CODE — what do I do?

Enter your 4-digit unlock code using the preset buttons (1–4). Each button selects the corresponding position. Press button 5 to confirm. The radio will unlock within seconds.

Where is the serial on an Opel Corsa?

The serial is on a sticker on the side of the radio unit. You need to remove the radio — use Opel release keys or a flat plastic trim tool. The serial starts with OP followed by alphanumeric characters.

Does this work for Vauxhall (UK)?

Yes — Vauxhall and Opel use identical radios. Select 'Opel / Vauxhall' and enter your OP-series serial. The code is the same regardless of whether the car was sold as Opel or Vauxhall.
