RadioPins ("we", "us") operates radiopins.com and the RadioPins Android app. This policy explains what information we collect when you look up or purchase a car radio unlock code, and how it's used. Last updated: 2026-07-01.
What we collect
- Radio serial number: the value you enter to look up a code. Used only to find/generate the matching unlock code; not linked to your identity.
- Order records (paid brands only): if you purchase a paid unlock ($4.99 brands), we store the serial, the resulting code, order status, and — if you provide one — an email address to send your receipt and code.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal. We do not receive or store your card number — Stripe/PayPal handle that directly under their own privacy policies.
- Usage analytics: we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand traffic (pages viewed, approximate location from IP, referral source). This is aggregate usage data, not tied to your name.
- Server logs: standard web server logs (IP address, browser user-agent, timestamp) kept briefly for security and abuse prevention (e.g. blocking bots and scrapers).
What we don't collect
We don't require an account, a password, or your name. Free brand lookups are not stored against any identity. We don't sell your data to third parties.
How data is used
- To deliver the radio unlock code you requested.
- To process payment and send a receipt, for paid brands.
- To honor the money-back guarantee (see Refund Policy) if a code doesn't work.
- To measure site/app traffic and improve the service.
- To block abusive traffic (scrapers, bots, scanners).
Third parties we use
- Stripe and PayPal — payment processing.
- Google Analytics — traffic analytics.
- Cloudflare — content delivery and security (DDoS/bot protection).
Android app
The RadioPins Android app is a lightweight wrapper around this website (radiopins.com). It does not collect any information beyond what is described on this page, and requests no device permissions beyond standard internet access.
Data retention
Order records are retained to honor the 30-day money-back guarantee and for basic accounting. Server logs are rotated automatically after a short period.
Your rights
You can request deletion of any order/email record associated with your purchase, or ask what data we hold, by emailing [email protected].
Children's privacy
RadioPins is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
