Get Your Radio Code

Select a series above to see the required format

Peugeot/Citroën serials start with PE (e.g. PE680FW0007937). The serial is on a sticker on the radio chassis — remove the unit to find it. Some models display it via a hidden menu.

How to Find Your Peugeot / Citroën Radio Serial

Method 1 — Radio chassis sticker

Remove the radio from the dashboard. The serial label is usually on the top or side of the unit. It will read something like PE670FA3006781. Enter the complete serial including the leading PE.

Method 2 — Hidden serial menu (Blaupunkt units)

On Peugeot 206 and Citroën C3 fitted with Blaupunkt radios: switch on the radio, then press and hold the TA button for 5 seconds. The serial number may scroll across the display.

Method 3 — Peugeot / Citroën dealer

Both brands can retrieve the radio code using your VIN number. Visit any Peugeot or Citroën main dealer with proof of ownership (V5/logbook) and photo ID. This is a free service.

Note: The Peugeot 307 and Citroën C4 Phase 2 (2004+) use a different RD4/RD45 head unit with a 10-digit serial. Select Peugeot / Citroën from the list and enter the full serial exactly as shown.

FAQ

How do I enter the radio code on a Peugeot 206?

Switch on the radio. When CODE appears, use the numbered station preset buttons (1–4 or 1–6 depending on head unit) to enter each digit of the code. Press and hold button 6 (or the MODE button on some units) to confirm. The radio will activate immediately.

My Peugeot 307 shows WAIT — what does that mean?

WAIT indicates the anti-theft system is temporarily locked after too many wrong attempts. Leave the ignition in ACC position for 1 hour (do not switch off). After the timeout, you can try the correct code again.

The serial on my Citroën C4 starts with BP — is that normal?

Yes. Some PSA Group vehicles (Peugeot / Citroën) were fitted with Blaupunkt-branded radios that use a BP serial prefix. Try selecting Blaupunkt from the main calculator and entering the full serial.

My serial starts with PH, not PE — which should I use?

PH serials belong to Philips-built units, which were also used in some PSA vehicles. Use the main calculator and select Philips / Clarion, or try the PE series first — both are available in our database.
