On most Chrysler / Jeep / Dodge radios you can display the serial on-screen. Turn the radio off, then hold the 1 and 4 preset buttons simultaneously for about 5 seconds. The radio will display a sequence of numbers — these are your serial digits. Note them down and enter them in the calculator above.
Remove the radio from the dashboard. On most models the serial sticker on the top or side of the unit shows a short 4 or 5-digit number. Some stickers also include the radio model number (TM4 or TM5).
Any authorized Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge dealer can retrieve your radio code using your VIN at no charge if you are the registered owner.

After three incorrect attempts the radio locks for one hour. Leave the ignition on ACC for the full hour. The radio will return to the code entry screen. It is important not to turn the ignition fully off during this period.
Some TM5 models use a different button combination. Try holding the AM/FM button and preset 2 at the same time for 5 seconds. On others, the serial appears when you press and hold the SELECT button with the radio off. If none work, remove the radio and read the sticker on the chassis.
5-digit serials return a 4-digit code. You only need 4 preset buttons to enter the code. The serial length (4 or 5 digits) does not equal the code length.
