Fiat serials start with FIF (e.g. FIF001P8000678). The sticker is on the chassis of the radio — remove the unit from the dashboard to read it. Also check inside the glovebox or vehicle documents for a radio code card.

How to Find Your Fiat Radio Serial

Method 1 — Radio chassis sticker

Remove the radio from the dashboard. On most Fiat models you need a flat trim tool to unclip the center console surround before the radio can be unbolted. The serial sticker begins with FIF and is printed on the side or top of the chassis.

Method 2 — Glovebox card

Fiat commonly supplied a small laminated security card with the radio code printed on it. Check inside the glovebox, behind the owner's manual, or in any separate document wallet supplied with the car.

Method 3 — Fiat dealer

Any authorized Fiat dealer can look up the code using your VIN at no charge for the registered owner. Bring proof of identity and vehicle ownership.

FAQ

My Fiat Punto radio shows "SAFE" — what does that mean?

SAFE means the radio has locked itself after too many wrong code entries. Leave the ignition in ACC for one hour. The radio will switch back to CODE mode after the timeout and you can try again.

How do I enter the code on a Fiat Stilo?

With the radio showing CODE, use the preset station buttons (1–5) to enter each digit. Press the AUDIO or MODE button to confirm after the last digit. The radio will turn on if the code is correct.

My Fiat radio serial starts with FIF but the code isn't found — what should I try?

Double-check the serial sticker: some FIF serials include a trailing letter that must be included. Also confirm you are reading the serial from the chassis sticker, not from any label on the faceplate.

Does this cover the Fiat Fiorino van?

Yes. The Fiorino uses the same Fiat OEM radio system with FIF prefix serials and is covered by this database.
