Remove the radio from the dashboard. On most Fiat models you need a flat trim tool to unclip the center console surround before the radio can be unbolted. The serial sticker begins with FIF and is printed on the side or top of the chassis.
Fiat commonly supplied a small laminated security card with the radio code printed on it. Check inside the glovebox, behind the owner's manual, or in any separate document wallet supplied with the car.
Any authorized Fiat dealer can look up the code using your VIN at no charge for the registered owner. Bring proof of identity and vehicle ownership.

SAFE means the radio has locked itself after too many wrong code entries. Leave the ignition in ACC for one hour. The radio will switch back to CODE mode after the timeout and you can try again.
With the radio showing CODE, use the preset station buttons (1–5) to enter each digit. Press the AUDIO or MODE button to confirm after the last digit. The radio will turn on if the code is correct.
Double-check the serial sticker: some FIF serials include a trailing letter that must be included. Also confirm you are reading the serial from the chassis sticker, not from any label on the faceplate.
Yes. The Fiorino uses the same Fiat OEM radio system with FIF prefix serials and is covered by this database.
